5-Day Kerela and Trivandrum – Nature, Exploration and Entertainment 🌅
This 5-day South India tour takes you through Kerala's cultural heart and scenic landscapes—from the heritage sites of Cochin to the waterfalls of Athirappilly, the serene Alleppey backwaters, and the historic temples of Trivandrum. Enjoy houseboat stays, local cuisine, and guided sightseeing. The journey concludes with a convenient transfer to Madurai or Cochin based on your onward plans.
Itinerary
Day 1 – Chennai to Cochin (Flight)
Arrive at Cochin International Airport, where our representative will greet you and assist with hotel check-in. After freshening up, begin your local sightseeing tour of Cochin. Visit notable attractions including the Chinese Fishing Nets, Fort Cochin, Church of Saint Francis, Santa Cruz Basilica, Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry Palace, and the Cochin Spice Market. Overnight stay in Cochin.
Day 2 – Cochin to Athirappilly
After breakfast, drive to Athirappilly, a picturesque destination known for its breathtaking waterfalls and dense greenery. Spend the day exploring the stunning Athirappilly Waterfalls and nearby nature spots. Overnight stay in Athirappilly.
Day 3 – Athirappilly to Alleppey (Houseboat Experience)
After breakfast, head to Alleppey. Upon arrival, board your deluxe houseboat and begin a scenic cruise through Kerala’s backwaters. Enjoy the peaceful canals, lush surroundings, and glimpse of village life. Overnight stay on the houseboat in Alleppey.
Day 4 – Alleppey to Trivandrum
After breakfast, check out from the houseboat and proceed to Trivandrum. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax. In the afternoon, visit the iconic Padmanabhaswamy Temple, famous for its towering gopurams, artistic murals, and granite-carved pillars. Overnight stay in Trivandrum.
Day 5 – Trivandrum to Madurai (Flight/Train/Vehicle)
After breakfast, continue your journey to Madurai by flight, train, or private vehicle. If you’re returning to Cochin, enjoy free time for shopping and leisure before your scheduled airport drop-off for departure.
