Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Padang – A Warm West Sumatran Welcome
Arrive at Minangkabau International Airport (PDG) at 17:20 PM via Scoot TR-208 from Singapore. Meet your local representative for a warm greeting, then head to a local restaurant for a delicious welcome dinner. Afterward, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure.
Overnight in Padang.
Day 2: Coastal Legends & Highland Drive – From Padang to Bukittinggi
After breakfast and checkout, explore Padang with a city tour. Visit Air Manis Beach, famous for the legend of Malin Kundang, and drive past Siti Nurbaya Bridge, Old Harbor, and Muara Beach. Stop at the IORA Monument for an iconic photo with the Indian Ocean backdrop.
Continue with a visit to the Grand Mosque of Sheikh Ahmad Khatib Al-Minangkabawi, the largest mosque in West Sumatra. Enjoy lunch, then drive up to Bukittinggi, stopping at the Anai Valley Waterfall, Minangkabau Documentation Center, and local embroidery shops. Don’t miss tasting the local snack Bika Talago. End the day with dinner and check-in.

Day 3: Scenic Highlands – Lake Maninjau & Sianok Canyon Views
After breakfast, head out to Lake Maninjau, enjoying spectacular views from 1,000 meters above sea level. Experience traditional sugarcane milling powered by buffalo—a timeless local craft.
After lunch, return to Bukittinggi and take in the stunning panorama of Sianok Canyon, followed by a visit to the Clock Tower and a stroll through Pasar Atas Market. Dine at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel.

Day 4: Cultural Gems – Pagaruyung Royalty & Pariangan Village
Fuel up with breakfast before beginning your cultural exploration. Visit a local shop to buy the famous Sanjai Balado Chips, then head to Kiniko Coffee Milling for “Teh Daun Kopi” and tranquil valley views.
Next, journey to the Pagaruyung King’s Palace, a stunning example of Minangkabau architecture and heritage. Continue to Pariangan Village, celebrated as one of the most beautiful traditional villages in the world. Return to Bukittinggi for dinner and unwind at your hotel.

Day 5: Farewell West Sumatra – Departure from Bukittinggi
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Minangkabau International Airport (PDG) for your departing flight. If traffic allows, enjoy your final drive through the scenic Sumatran highlands, cherishing the memories of culture, legends, and landscapes.
