Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Arrive at Cairo International Airport where you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids, Saqqara & Cultural Visits

After breakfast, visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, including a camel ride with photo opportunities. Continue to Saqqara, then lunch followed by visits to the Egyptian Papyrus Institute and a perfumery specializing in lotus flower fragrances. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3: Alexandria Day Trip

Enjoy breakfast before traveling to Alexandria. Visit Cavafy’s House, the Greek Patriarchate, Qaitbay Castle (site of the ancient lighthouse), and the famous Library of Alexandria. Return to Cairo for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Wadi Hitan Safari and Fayoum Excursion

After breakfast, depart for a desert safari in Wadi Hitan. Explore Wadi Rayyan and its stunning waterfalls before a 4x4 drive to Wadi Hitan to see ancient whale fossils dating back 40 million years. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the desert before returning to Cairo for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Aswan & Nile Cruise Begins

Breakfast then transfer to Cairo Airport for a flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, visit the High Dam, Philae Temple, Unfinished Obelisk, and a Nubian village. Enjoy a felucca boat ride before boarding your Nile cruise for overnight.

Day 6: Abu Simbel Temple Visit

After breakfast, take a day trip to the magnificent Abu Simbel temples. Return to the cruise for lunch, dinner, and overnight.

Day 7: Explore Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples

Breakfast onboard, then visit the temples of Edfu and Kom Ombo. Return to the cruise for meals and overnight.

Day 8: Luxor Sightseeing & Optional Hot Air Balloon

Begin the day with an optional hot air balloon ride over Luxor. Visit the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut’s Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. Transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Dinner and overnight in Cairo.

Day 9: Departure

Enjoy breakfast and free time until your transfer to Cairo Airport for your departure flight.
