Opened in 1971, Jurong Bird Park is one of the largest bird parks in the region, offering a 20.2-hectare hillside haven for 9,000 birds representing 600 species.
Committed to its efforts in conservation and exhibiting birds in naturalistic settings, the Bird Park creates simulated natural habitats – from the grasslands of Africa to the rainforests of South America – for different bird species.

The Hornbill and Toucan exhibit features the world’s largest collection of Southeast Asian hornbills and South American Toucans. The Waterfall Aviary, a walk-in aviary, houses 1,500 birds of 80 species. Aside from the thrill of simply watching these free-flying birds behaving naturally, feeding points offer visitors a chance to observe the many species in the aviary face-to-face. The largest of its kind in the world, the Waterfall Aviary includes a 30 metre man-made waterfall at one end. |
